Our Story
It all started in 2016 after taking our own epic trip in a compact campervan rental down the California coast and through the Arizona desert. We were travelling on a budget, without much of a plan, and yet rain or shine and no matter where our misguided adventures took us, we always had an economical and comfy place to sleep and cook our next meal.
When we returned home to Alberta, we knew that we wanted to provide this convenient, comfortable and economical campervan rental option to travelers exploring our own beautiful backyard. North Campervans was born and we haven’t looked back since!
Located a short taxi ride from the Calgary International Airport we are set to get travellers out and enjoying the Prairies, Rockies or the even the Coast! Our Goal
Every step of this North Campervans adventure has been made with the goal of keeping camping road trips simple and comfortable. Whether you're cooking in a campervan kitchen or a mobile setup, sleeping in a cozy campervan or spacious rooftop tent, driving one of our vans or your own SUV, we are excited to play a small role in simplifying and/or adding comfort to your roadtrip. The Team
Jenn
Jenn is from rural Alberta with a background in customer service and health and safety, and has worked in a variety of areas. She loves people/fur babies, the outdoors, adventures, and living vicariously through others’ adventures when responsibilities call. As a result, while she plays a role in all aspects of the business from building vans to dealing with the finances - you’ll find her hogging the role of being the first point of contact 🙂
Kris
Kris is from British Columbia originally, but has called Alberta home since University. His background in customer service, and engineering mixed with a love for adventure, sports and technology brings a great balance to the team. When you are requesting a quote on the website, travelling in the campervan and have a handy plug in to charge your phone at night, or your bed is setup in 5 seconds – its all thanks to his love of tinkering and attention to detail!
