We operate as a Canadian campervan rental company based in Alberta, providing vehicles and related services to customers within Canada and the USA.

2. Eligibility

You must be:

At least 18 years old (21 yrs to rent the SUV Camper) (or the minimum legal age for vehicle rental in Alberta).
In possession of a valid driver’s licence (Canadian or international) and a major credit card in your own name.
Capable of entering into legally binding contracts.

If you falsify your eligibility, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

3. Bookings and Payments

All reservations are subject to availability.
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking.
Payment terms, deposit requirements, and cancellation policies are displayed at checkout and form part of these terms.
Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may be subject to change without notice.
Taxes, fees, and optional extras (insurance, mileage, equipment, etc.) are additional unless stated otherwise.

If your payment fails, your booking will not be confirmed.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made more than 60 before pickup will be refunded in full.
Cancellations made within 30-59 days will result in a 50% credit to be used within 365 days.
Refunds (if any) will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period.

We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations due to unforeseen circumstances, such as vehicle damage or forces of nature. In such cases, you’ll receive a refund or alternative arrangement.

5. Vehicle Use and Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the vehicle in a safe, lawful, and responsible manner.
Return it on time, in the same condition as received.
Not smoke or carry illegal substances in the vehicle.
Notify us immediately of any accidents, damages, or mechanical issues.

You are responsible for all fines, tolls, damage, and losses incurred during your rental period.

6. Insurance and Liability

Basic insurance coverage may be included; optional coverage upgrades may be offered.
You remain financially responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle up to the deductible amount specified in your rental agreement.
North Campervans is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to your property during the rental period.

7. Website Use

You agree not to:

Use the website for unlawful purposes.
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the Website’s servers.
Post false or misleading information.
Copy, scrape, or reuse website content without written permission.

We can suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All Website content, logos, designs, text, images, and other materials are the property of North Campervans or its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute them without written authorization.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

North Campervans shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, vehicle, or services.
Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for your booking.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless North Campervans, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of our services, breach of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.

11. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us (see our Privacy Policy). By using our Website, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in that policy.

12. Forces of Nature

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, pandemics, labour strikes, or cosmic mischief).

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Alberta.

14. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective Date” will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. You should probably read them, but you won’t — nobody ever does.
